+ June 15 Carnival
Please join the Peter Kirk community on Saturday, June 15th from 3-6:30pm for an afternoon
of games, prizes, sweets, pony rides & bouncy houses.
+ June 18 5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony
The Moving Up Ceremony for 5th grade students will be held on Tuesday, June 18th
from 10:45am – 12:00pm in the Peter Kirk gym. Light refreshments will be served.
- June 19 Last Day of School    | Announcements Program Chairs Needed! Do you have a passion for art, Legos, science, or languages? Do you love spending time with kids and watching them shine as they explore something new? Get involved and chair one of our many program committees next year! The following programs will be canceled if there is no chair by June 14th: Back to School Picnic, Reflections, Lego Club, Science Club, Lango Language Club, Roots & Shoots, Playball Superstars, and Math Is Cool. Please contact the PTSA President if you are interested in becoming a committee chair. 2013-14 Enrollment & Grade Band Configurations Review the Principal Chat presentation regarding possible grade band configuration changes due to 2013-14 enrollment and the parent and staff input survey from 2012-13 on this topic. Sponsor a Carnival Booth Peter Kirk Parents: Do you own your own business? Would you like to sponsor a booth at the Peter Kirk Carnival on June 15th from 3-6:30? We are looking for sponsors to run booths at our carnival this year. If you are interested, please contact Amy Rice. Staff Appreciation Feedback Take a minute to let us know how we did in expressing our appreciation to staff. Your feedback makes our programs better! Volunteers & Bakers Needed for Carnival Are you a great baker, face painter, or skilled at the ring toss? We need your help to make our largest community event a success. Carnival is Saturday, June 15th and we are looking for wonderful parents and willing teenagers to donate treats for the cake walk or to come and volunteer to monitor games! Sign up here to volunteer. Sign up online at eScrip.com (Group: Peter Kirk Elementary PTSA) or return the eScrip registration form. If you have previously registered your Club Card, remember to renew by November 1st to continue earning money for our PTSA. The eScrip Program paid $1,400 to our PTSA last year, so thank you for your continued support! |
