Please support Peter Kirk Elementary by volunteering. Our PTSA is an independent non-profit organization with a mission to enhance and support the educational programs and environment at Peter Kirk Elementary. To accomplish our mission we need volunteers. Studies have shown that a major factor of a successful school is high levels of parent involvement and support. By volunteering just a few hours a month, you have the opportunity to make a difference in your child’s education and the power to enrich the school experience of every child at Peter Kirk. If everyone takes on a little, we can accomplish a lot! The Peter Kirk PTSA offers many ways to donate your time, from one time volunteer opportunities to ongoing projects, we can accommodate anyone’s desire to help. For volunteering opportunities, please see our program descriptions and fill out a PTSA volunteer form or contact the volunteer coordinator to lend your support. All volunteers, please review the Lake Washington School District (LWSD) Volunteer Handbook, and complete the LWSD Volunteer Application Packet before you volunteer. |

Help Out with Activities or Events
Science & Math Enrichment Director and Fundraising Director Positions are Open. These positions are appointed by the Executive Committee. Responsibilities vary, but all Board members are expected to attend Board meetings (approx. 8 per year), engage parents and teachers to encourage input and participation, oversee implementation of programs and committees under the position, and offer ideas and guidance. Committee Chair Positions There are a range of activities available, including many that only require a small amount of time for a day, a few days, or a few weeks. Even if you don't have much time, there is a place for you. Consider offering your skills to one of the following:
